I received my Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) APA-accredited clinical psychology doctoral program in 2007 after completing my dissertation, a sport psychology study on golf performance. I completed my doctoral internship at the Utah State University Student Counseling Center’s American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited psychology internship program, providing counseling and sport psychology consulting services to university students. I received my executive master of business administration (EMBA) at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018.

I currently work in private practice and as the director of training and associate director of the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) Counseling Services.
